The War Museum offers an insight into the tragic recent history of Cambodia over the last three decades of the 20th century. You can see a unique collection of military war machines such as tanks, jet fighters, and landmines. You can take a guide around the temples from war veterans who witnessed the terrible civil war and survived to tell the tale, which they now do at the War Museum.

Landmine Museum

The Cambodian Landmine museum is a reminder of the millions of landmines placed by the Khmer Rouge, the Cambodian Government, and the invading Vietnam forces. There are potentially 5 million still active in Cambodia. The Landmine museum tells the story of one man, Mr Aki Ra, who singlehandedly disarmed thousands of the mines which are on display in the museum.

Artisans d’Angkor

Artisans d’Angkor was created in 1998 to offer the fair development of Khmer Arts and Crafts. The organisation offers fair salaries, safe working conditions, and many social advantages for their employees. There are now 48 workshops in Siem Reap and over 1100 employes with more than 800 artisans. Artisan d’Angkor has become the premier showcase for traditional Khmer handicrafts.

Cultural Village

The Cambodian Cultural Village gives you the opportunity to learn about the history and culture of Cambodia. The site sits on 210,000 square metres and feature miniature buildings and thirteen villages which represent the different cultures living in Cambodia. You can also see traditional dancing, see a traditional Khmer village, and learn about the rich cultural history of the Khmer people which dates back more than a thousand years.

We can also help to arrange cooking classes. There are many cooking classes available to suit all levels from beginner to advanced. In these classes, you will visit a local market where you will buy everything you need to cook your meal. You’ll then be expertly guided through a cooking lesson. At the end of the lesson, you can eat your creation!

West Baray

West Baray is also known as the “beach” in Siem Reap. You can sit on the sand, enjoy a BBQ, relax in hammocks and go for a swim in the huge reservoir. You can also take a boat ride on the water and visit the small Hindu temple called West Mebon which was built on a very small artificial island in the centre of the reservoir.
